I know it's not polite to eavesdrop but I couldn't help but overhear a conversation between a teacher and another person while sitting in a mall. The teacher mentioned to the fellow that she originally got into teaching figuring she would have a job for life. That sort of thinking helped get us into the mess we are in now. The belief that anyone in either the private or public sector is entitled to a job for life really illustrates what progressive thinking does. The big difference is that in the public sector those "jobs for life" are on the taxpayer dime and continue to foster the "big government is best" idea. It would appear that idea hasn't worked out...

Unions and collective....a few thoughts...
It's amazing how many unions both public and private have either been originally founded or endorsed by people with socialist and/or progressive roots. Is there a reason for this? Does it promote an agenda? Why would socialist and progressive groups support unions so strongly and often present union leaders with awards? It comes down to putting people in a "collective" situation. Whether bargaining for wages, supporting political candidates or entitlements, it is a means to seize control and power and a means to erode individualism. This thinking allows academic elites to believe they can decide an individual's future better than the individual can for him or herself. The more people these groups can put under a big government umbrella, the better it suits their agenda. Otherwise, why would the unions be so close to the current presidential administration? Just a thought...

Definition please...
One wonders how those folks would define what Hitler actually did. Maybe they feel there is a moral equivalent...Let's hope not...

Scott Walker is Hitler??
Currently, Governor Scott Walker is under heavy fire from the left and is in the middle of a recall effort to oust him from office. There have been many protests against him, but they do not seem to phase him. While many would be intimidated by these protests and the hate-mongering, he continues to stand strong and hold his values close to him. About a week ago Governor Walker and his wife lit the newly named, "Christmas Tree," at the Wisconsin State Capital. I say newly named because for the past 25 years the tree has been referred to as a "holiday tree," in a ridiculous attempt to not offend anyone. Well, in November Governor Walker came out and proudly called the tree for what it is, a Christmas Tree.
This brings me to my main point. During the tree lighting ceremony when the Governor takes to the podium to give his speech, many protesters gave him the Nazi salute. (Seen in video above)
Oh my gosh! I completely forgot about when Scott Walker mass murdered millions of people. Remember that? I can't believe that I had forgotten about that. Oh, and remember the time when he started a World War and invaded all of those countries. Yes I remember now! I completely forgot that Scott Walker was one of the most evil men to ever walk this earth. A lot of people don't know this, but Scott Walker was actually Hitler himself! I know it sounds crazy but it's true. Nope, he didn't die. They faked his death, he fled to the United States and he plans to have another shot at world domination that is starting with balancing Wisconsin's budget.
Get a Life! Just because you don't like a political figure or you don't agree with what they are doing doesn't mean that you can compare him to one of the most evil men in the history of mankind.
It reminds me of the very important lesson: Click Here
Here's an idea, why don't you come up with some real points against what Scott Walker has done and maybe we can have a civilized debate. It makes me sick when these protesters have no basis for their arguments and just scream at the top of their lungs, "SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!" It just goes to show that these anti-walker protesters have no basis for their arguments.

Priceless
Money spent by NYC and Oakland because of OWS: $10+ million
Money spent by all cities in US because of OWS: $17+ million
Seeing a OWS Protestor Cry: priceless

What's the plan?
Curious to know what plan those pushing the recall have if they are actually successful in removing Gov. Walker from office? We are too. Reverting back to the policies that created the budget shortfall can't actually be the plan..can it? At this point, it looks as if the recall is being done out of spite. That approach always comes from those with level heads-not! The angry mobs at the capitol last winter showed that.
